Case Converter: UPPERCASE, lowercase & Title Case Explained

9 min read

Changing text case is a small but frequent task. Headings need Title Case; some systems expect UPPERCASE or lowercase. A case converter does this in one click so you don't retype or fix by hand.

UPPERCASE

All letters become capital. Use for labels, legacy systems, or emphasis. Some databases or APIs expect keys in uppercase.

lowercase

All letters become small. Use for normalised data, slugs, or when a system expects lowercase input.

Title Case

The first letter of each major word is capitalised. Use for titles, headings, or product names. Rules can vary (e.g. small words like "the" or "and" may stay lowercase); our tool applies a consistent style.

Tips

  • Paste the whole block and convert; then copy only what you need.
  • For URLs or slugs, prefer lowercase and use a text-to-slug tool if you need hyphens and no spaces.

Our Case Converter updates as you type. No account, no limits—just paste and choose the case you need.
