Video Player & Converter
Play videos that won't open on mobile, then convert and download as MP4 — all in your browser.
About Video Player & Converter
Some videos refuse to play on phones because of the container or codec. Our video player and converter lets you upload a file, try playback in the browser, and—if needed—convert it to a widely compatible MP4 so you can play and download it. Conversion runs entirely in your browser with ffmpeg.wasm; we don’t upload or store your video. No account required.
How to use Video Player & Converter
Upload a video file. The tool tries to play it first. If playback fails, it converts to MP4 in your browser so you can play and download. Nothing is uploaded to a server.

FAQs about Video Player & Converter
Is my video uploaded to a server?
No. Playback and conversion run in your browser. Your file never needs to leave your device.
Is there a file size limit?
No — you can upload any size video. Playback uses your browser’s streaming; conversion loads the file into memory, so very large files (roughly 800MB+) may need a powerful device or can be downloaded as-is.
Why is the first conversion slow?
The first time you convert, the browser downloads a ~31 MB FFmpeg engine (WebAssembly). It is cached on your device — later conversions skip that download. Larger videos also take longer to re-encode.
Which formats work?
Common formats like MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV, AVI, WMV, and FLV usually convert in the browser. We try several encoding methods automatically. Very large files or rare proprietary codecs may still fail — download the original in that case.
When should I tap Convert to MP4?
If the video already plays but you want a more compatible MP4 for sharing, or if auto-convert didn’t run.
How does bulk convert work?
Switch to Bulk convert, select up to 15 videos, and tap Convert all to MP4. Each file is converted in your browser, one at a time. Download individually or as a ZIP when finished.
